Privacy Policy

This Policy covers information handled by Wolf RPG. It does not cover information controlled solely by Discord or another third party. Your use of the Service is also governed by the Wolf RPG Terms of Service.

The information handled depends on the features you choose to use. Wolf RPG is designed around slash commands, buttons, select menus, and Activity actions. It is not designed to read or save ordinary Discord chat messages.

Wolf RPG may process the following information when it is needed for a feature you use:

Discord account

Discord user ID, username or display name, and avatar or avatar URL. A copy of your avatar may be cached locally to create game profile images.

Game and character

Character details, level, experience, resources, stats, currencies, beast forms, location, inventory, equipment, quests, achievements, combat and dungeon progress, settings, and saved screen state.

Multiplayer

Party and guild membership, invitations, roles, rankings, and information needed for shared gameplay.

Information you submit

Commands, button and menu choices, Activity actions, optional AI-guide questions, and feedback. Feedback may include a category, message, image link, or screenshot you choose to provide.

Technical and session

Timestamps, short-lived authentication or Activity session information, instance or context identifiers, Discord server, channel, or message IDs needed for shared play or resuming a screen, and security or diagnostic records.

Stored on your device

The Activity may save audio preferences in your browser so it can remember them on that device.

Optional public hunter profile

If you choose to enable one, Wolf RPG publishes your character name and title, level, current beast form, element, authored character portrait, Power Level, top weapon, armor, and element Masteries, and selected combat, enemy, boss, and dungeon totals behind a random link.

Please do not submit passwords, Discord tokens, payment-card information, government identification numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information through Wolf RPG.

We receive information:

• From Discord through its APIs and software tools when you authorize or interact with Wolf RPG.
• Directly from you when you use commands, buttons, menus, the Activity, the AI guide, or Feedback.
• From Wolf RPG's systems as they calculate and save your game progress.
• From other players when they invite or interact with you through a party, guild, leaderboard, or shared feature.
• Automatically from infrastructure used to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the Service. Error records may include a command or component reference and Discord user or server ID.
• When someone opens a public hunter link, ordinary website and hosting logs may include request information such as IP address, browser details, requested path, time, and security events.

We use information to:

• Create and maintain your character and saved progress.
• Deliver requested commands, game screens, Activity features, multiplayer systems, and leaderboards.
• Authenticate interactions, enforce permissions, prevent misuse, and protect players and the Service.
• Maintain, diagnose, repair, balance, and improve Wolf RPG.
• Respond to feedback, support questions, privacy requests, and reports of rule violations.
• Comply with applicable law and enforce the Terms of Service.

If you use the optional /ask feature, the Moonlit Archivist processes your question together with reviewed public Wolf RPG information and, when helpful, a limited read-only snapshot of your own character.

That snapshot may include resources and stats, current and unlocked locations, beast-form progress, quest summaries, cleared dungeon tiers, and game-calculated recommendations. It does not include another player's data, and the guide cannot change your character or progress.

Wolf RPG does not intentionally add AI questions or answers to your player save or use them to train AI models. The current feature uses an operator-controlled local model service. Discord still processes the command interaction, and temporary technical processing occurs while an answer is generated. This Policy will be updated if that arrangement changes materially.

Information may be disclosed only as reasonably needed to:

• Discord: deliver bot messages, interactions, attachments, authentication, and the Discord Activity.
• Wolf RPG operators: operate, support, secure, and improve the Service or review feedback and reports.
• Service providers: host, store, back up, deliver, or secure the Service on Wolf RPG's behalf.
• Legal and safety purposes: comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce the Terms, investigate abuse, or protect people, rights, and the Service.

Wolf RPG does not sell or rent personal information and does not disclose Discord API data to data brokers, advertising networks, or monetization services.

Some information is meant to be shown through the game. Your display name, avatar, selected character details, ranking, party or guild membership, and gameplay activity may be visible to other people when you use profiles, leaderboards, multiplayer features, or messages posted in a Discord channel.

Information posted in a server channel can be seen by people who have access to that channel. Review the destination before submitting feedback, links, or screenshots.

Public hunter profiles are off by default. Before enabling one, Wolf RPG explains that anyone with the link can view and reshare it, including outside Discord. The page deliberately excludes your Discord user ID and avatar, currencies, inventory, bank, exact equipment or build, Health and Fera, location, quests, live activity, party and guild membership, and internal session or save information.

Public hunter links are unlisted, excluded from Wolf RPG's sitemap, and marked for search engines not to index or follow. Those signals do not prevent another person from copying or resharing a link. You can disable the profile or regenerate its random link at any time; either action immediately makes the previous address unavailable.

Because Wolf RPG is a persistent RPG, player-save information is generally kept while needed to make your character and progress available. Activity access tokens are used to authenticate a session and are not intentionally written to the player database; the current server cache has a short validity window and is bounded in process memory. Player saves, relationship records, feedback, cached images, and diagnostic records do not currently have one fixed automatic deletion schedule. They are retained while reasonably needed for operation, support, security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.

Disabling or regenerating a public hunter profile clears or replaces its active random link immediately. Character deletion and an approved privacy deletion also revoke the link before a record is quarantined. Restricted backups may retain an older record temporarily, but restoring one does not silently reactivate a revoked public link.

When information is no longer needed, it may be deleted or de-identified. Deleted information may remain temporarily in restricted backups until those backups are replaced through their ordinary cycle. Some records may be retained when required by law, needed for security, or necessary to resolve a dispute or abuse report.

Removing Wolf RPG from a server, stopping use, or deleting your Discord account may not automatically delete separately stored player data. Use the request process below if you want your Wolf RPG data deleted.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Access to nonpublic player information is limited to people and systems that need it to operate or support the Service.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your Discord account, and never give anyone your password or authentication token.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information. You may also have rights to object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, appeal a decision, or complain to a data-protection authority. Legal exceptions may apply.

To make a request, open Wolf RPG's About page, choose Feedback → Send Feedback, and begin the message with Privacy Request. State whether you want access, correction, or deletion. We may ask for information needed to verify that you control the relevant Discord account, but we will never ask for your password or Discord token. Wolf RPG currently reviews and completes these requests manually.

Deleting a character is permanent and may remove progress, inventory, currencies, party or guild associations, and other saved information. Information controlled by Discord must be managed through Discord's own settings or support process.

Wolf RPG is not directed to anyone under age 13 or under the higher minimum age required to use Discord in their country. You must meet Discord's eligibility requirements to use the Service.

If a parent or guardian believes a child below the applicable minimum age provided information to Wolf RPG, they should submit a Privacy Request through the contact method below.

Discord and providers used to host, store, deliver, or secure Wolf RPG may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be used.

Review Discord's Privacy Policy↗ for Discord-controlled data. The Wolf RPG website is delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure and may also be mirrored on GitHub Pages for stable legal links. Those providers may receive ordinary web request information such as an IP address, browser or device details, and requested pages. GitHub handles its copy under the GitHub General Privacy Statement↗. Cloudflare handles website delivery under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy↗. Wolf RPG does not place advertising trackers or analytics on this website at the date shown above.

When the public Discord Activity tunnel is enabled, Cloudflare may transmit Activity web requests under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy↗.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Wolf RPG, its providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version and its effective date will be posted here. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent before a material change takes effect.
